About Us
Meram Building is a family owned and operated company originally based near Detroit, Michigan.
We relocated our headquarters and expanded our operations to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2006, bringing
with us over 30 years of experience in land development and general contracting. Meram Companies
takes a uniquely innovative and efficient approach to every construction project it leads, a
trademark since its inception in 1976.
The dedication to hard work, honesty and integrity has been instilled in the Meram sons by their
father, Sam Meram CEO of Meram Companies. "We were encouraged to be involved in the business at
a very young age, I remember learning to run bulldozers and being on job sites with my dad as far
back as I can remember" says Francis Meram, President. This is probably why my Dad encouraged me
to become a Civil Engineer. The same goes for the other sons who are involved in the business.
Irvin Meram is an Architect and Jason Meram has a Degree in Construction Management. This unique
combination of professional degrees provides a level of "in-house" expertise which is another unique
characteristic that allows Meram to be so different than other companies in the industry.
The distinctive "In-House" Capabilities make Meram a company that can control most of the building
process while not having to be at the mercy of sub-contractors, as most of the major trades are
direct employees of Meram. This gives Meram the control to make sure a project gets completed with
the highest quality, while still under budget and on time. Our ability to complete projects in an
efficient manner sets our company apart from the rest.
