About Us
Meram Building is a family owned and operated company originally based near Detroit, Michigan.
We relocated our headquarters and expanded our operations to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2006, bringing
with us over 30 years of experience in land development and general contracting. Meram Companies
takes a uniquely innovative and efficient approach to every construction project it leads, a
trademark since its inception in 1976.
In 2008 Meram Building Companies expanded their presence by opening a Middle Eastern Headquarters based out of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The tremendous growth in the Middle East especially in Abu Dhabi in the coming years makes this opportunity critical in growing our company on the International stage.
In addition to Meram Companies International we have formed strategic partnerships with many Phoenix based companies in their quest to venture out of the United States and secure International work through us in the Middle East, specifically within the UAE. This unique group of Technology Companies, Engineering Firms, Architecture Firms, Sustainable Products and Renewable Resources is what sets us apart from the rest of the companies doing business in the UAE as we combine some of the best companies and products in the United States under one umbrella and can serve as the means to implement them throughout the region in a swift and very competitive manner.

Sam Meram - CEO
Sam has spent most of his life on heavy equipment and on construction sites.He has extensive experience in Utilities installation and infrastructure, Commercial, Industrial, and Residencial construction. Sam has been involved in every aspect of construction since founding his company in 1976 and can handle almost any problem that may arise on a jobsite and execute a solution immediately. |

Francis Meram - President
At as early as 10 years old, Francis was introduced to construction equipment and allowed to tinker with them in the secured areas of job sites and nearby fields….by age 14, Francis could operate most equipment on site with tremendous accuracy and skill. This depth and knowledge of the trade through hands on experience as well as the formal education in Civil Engineering makes his a scarcity in the field and in the board room. His knowledge of designing systems that “actually work in the field” is of great importance. Having worked for several years for a municipal engineering firm, Francis gained experience in Construction Inspection, plan review, and utility design. After moving from Michigan Francis also worked as a Civil Designer in Arizona for a period of time prior to starting his own company. Francis has extensive experience in the entitlement process, permitting civil design, civil site work, commercial construction and tenant improvements. Just a few reasons why he was nominated for top “35 under 35.” |

Irvin Meram - Architect/Project Manager
Irvin is an integral part of the design and architectute division at Meram Companies. A graduate of Ohio State University with a Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters degree in Architecture from IIIinois Institute oftechnology. Irvin has a amazing vision and creativity to implement designs that "work" both visually andtechnically. His design experience, combined with his in depth knowledge in construction and project management make him a essential asset to our team.

Jason Meram - Project Manager
Jason specializes in ground up construction in our retail construction division. Hos experience in all areas of construction including site work, masonry, concrete and excavating allow him to properly manage and supervise all aspectus of his projects effectively. With a bachelors Degree in construction Managenment from Michigan State University, he prides himself o his ability to maintain a strict construction shedule and has delivered all of his projects to date on or ahead of schedule of commercial and residential construction.
